2019 Spring Volunteer Training

It’s time to get ready for the upcoming field season! Tamarac uses volunteers for everything from environmental education to maintenance and grounds keeping; visitors center hosts to aquatic invasive species inspectors and educators. If you have any interest please join our training – and bring a friend! This training is for experienced volunteers as well as anyone just curious about the program. The volunteer program, policy, regulations, and other topics will be discussed as well as a “speed date” with refuge staff to match your interests with their needs. Lunch will be provided followed by a refuge site visit. We will meet at the Discovery Center.
