Rhythms of Refuge is a seasonal journey through Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge. In this film, photographer Chris Walker takes you into the most intimate spaces of the refuge one season at a time. Photographer Jared Eischen gives you looks at the habitat from a new perspective. Find your respite in this cinematic experience into the wilds of one of most diverse ecosystems of northern Minnesota. This short film premiere is a free event sponsored by the Friends of Tamarac in collaboration with Minnesota State University Moorhead.

This event is a celebration of National Wildlife Refuge Week October 8-16 where each year we celebrate the great network of lands and waters that conserves and protects Americans’ precious wildlife heritage.
Rediscover your nature and plan a visit to Tamarac Refuge (35704 County Hwy 26, Rochert, MN 56578) to watch for wildlife along the Blackbird Wildlife Drive or stop by the Visitor Center (Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00-4:00 year round, Sat & Sun 10:00 -5:00 pm through Oct. 20) During National Wildlife Refuge Week – October 8-16 – take a walk on the wild side. Three trails will be signed, self-guided, interpretive walk through the wilds of the refuge.
